Unheard Cries of the Earth, was a piece made to bring attention to the dangers pollution and deforestation can pose to indigenous cultures and wildlife. Despite its functionality as a planter, this piece was made with the intention of only being filled with plant clippings; transiently beautiful, yet unsustainable.

Reclamation

Made as a continuation, Reclaimed Life is a fully functional planter meant to represent how people can grow together to help create and sustain life in ways beneficial to all.

"Pilea plants have recently gained popularity in my community for their easy and quick propagation, making them a common gift.

To me, each little green beginning represents it’s gift giver fondly, embodying a healthy and growing relationship, and I find this idea of taking something living, and sharing it with someone you care for with faith that they’ll pour in the same love to help it flourish, incredibly beautiful."
